SINEGANG.ph's 2024 Oscars Predictions and Staff Choices

SINEGANG.ph’s 2024 Oscars Predictions and Staff Choices

The highly anticipated 2024 Oscar ceremony is right around the corner, bringing waves of expectations on who will win the awards in each category. This year's 96th Academy Awards promises to be unlike any other, bringing in some strong contenders. Oppenheimer leads the pack with an astounding 13 nominations, followed by Poor Things with 11 nods.

This year’s Oscars serve as a testament to the resurgence of cinema with abundance of exceptional films that has been released last year—From Triet’s complex and emotionally charged court drama film, Anatomy of a Fall to Song’s moving and evocative, Past Lives, have been nothing short of remarkable, and Gerwig’s hilarious yet thought-provoking Barbie that also earned a spot for the Best Picture lineup.

As we prepare for the big event this weekend, our dedicated staff at SINEGANG.ph has cast their own ballots as to who they think will win and are most deserving of the Oscar trophy.

The 96th Oscar Academy Awards is set to air on Sunday, 7:00 PM, March 10 on ABC live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood (Monday, 7:00 AM PST)
