In a recently forged partnership, the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival and the Asia Pacific Film Institute committed to providing full scholarship grants and tuition discounts for winners and participants in the Festival’s Student Shorts Category. These benefits are on top of the Festival’s creative grant of PHP200,000 per Student Short.

This October, Cine Balikbayan launches its first exhibition program of films from the Filipino diaspora. The exhibition features thirteen short films and one feature film, with half of them making their Manila debuts. The event happens on October 17 and 18 at the Dengcar Theater at Mowelfund.
