20th Gandingan Awards Unveils Official Nominees

The Gandingan Awards returns for its 20th run, with this year focusing on amplifying environmental stewardship. Organized by the UP Community Broadcaster’s Society (UP ComBroadSoc), the awards aim to highlight and challenge development-oriented programs across TV, radio, and online programs that continue to play an active role in addressing pressing issues. This year’s theme, ‘Pakinggan, Tinig ng Kalikasan,’ highlights the role of media, from community-based to national organizations that continue to be the voice for the degrading environment, the climate crisis, and the affected marginalized communities.
GMA Network Inc. leads the nominations across all categories with 25, followed by DZRH Radio 666 kHz with 21, and Quezon City Government - Public Affairs and Information Services Department with 17. Here are the official nominations:
