Meckhan Tagarda

Meckhan Tagarda is a staff writer for SINEGANG.ph, bringing together regional perspectives from cinema, communication, and advocacy. He is the Founding Director of the Xavier Ateneo Film Society and Festival Manager of Cine de Oro Film Festival 2025. As the architect of The Green Screen educational content initiative, he developed an online platform to empower the Northern Mindanao film education industry, enlightening Mindanaoans about regional cinema. A filmmaker and organizer, he has directed short films and coordinated advocacy projects. A fresh graduate of Development Communication, Meckhan continues to build a career at the intersections of film, education, and community storytelling.
