Sue Ramirez plays Ena, a woman who mysteriously lost her vagina, in the upcoming genre-bending comedy Flower Girl, hitting cinemas nationwide this June 18. Crafted through the inspired collaboration by The IdeaFirst Company (Die Beautiful, The Breadwinner Is…), Octobertrain Films (Bwakaw, Barber’s Tales), and CreaZion Studios (Isang Himala, Everything About My Wife), the film follows Ena, a woman juggling a napkin endorsement and a curated life—until a restroom run-in with a trans fairy—and pak! Her vagina’s gone. Vanished. Snatched by a supernatural curse. To get her Poochy back, she must go on a soul-searching journey to rediscover her own womanhood—or risk losing it forever.
Directed by Fatrick Tabada who wrote hit films like Patay Na Si Hesus and series like The Kangks Show, Flower Girl is a fearless but heartfelt comedy that uses magical realism to explore the social scripts women are forced to follow. Tabada dives headfirst into absurdity to dismantle deeply ingrained gender expectations—without ever losing sight of the emotional core. Alongside Sue Ramirez, the cast includes Martin del Rosario, Jameson Blake, Maxie Andreison, and KaladKaren, rounding out a cast that brings the film’s unique, satirical world to life.
