Watch Proudly as Yabang Pinoy and Linya Linya Bring Back the 6th Philippine Cinema Sessions

Following Yabang Pinoy’s 20th year celebration with the theme ‘Live Proud’, the movement has collaborated with Linya Linya, a homegrown Pinoy brand, in the sixth instalment of PHILIPPINE CINEMA SESSIONS – a series of talks about the current state of Philippine Cinema and filmmaking in general. This is the first time since the pandemic that Yabang Pinoy will be hosting the program in a live environment.
This time around, both Yabang Pinoy and Linya Linya promise hard-hitting and thought-provoking topics surrounding the contemporary Filipino films. The program boasts a solid roster which includes directors Derick Cabrido (Clarita, Mallari, Untold), Jaime Pacena II (Kono Basho), Victor Kaiba Villanueva (Patay na si Hesus, Lucid, I am not Big Bird), Dwein Baltazar (Oda sa Wala, Third World Romance), Dustin Celestino (Ang Duyan ng Magiting, Habang Nilalamon ng Hydra ang Kasaysayan), and Antoinette Jadaone (That Thing Called Tadhana, Alone/Together, Sunshine), director and production designer Nestor Abrogena (Ang Kuwento Nating Dalawa, Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, The Kingdom), cinematographer Anne Monzon (The Love Affair, ML, Miracle in Cell No. 7), and actress and producer Therese Malvar (Broken Blooms, Quezon, Food Delivery).
