Once a Newbie Production, and now returning to the Ateneo de Manila University stage after 10 years, The Addams Family meets you once more this April to May 2026. Brought to you by Ateneo Blue Repertory, the company behind the award-winning Zsazsa Zaturnnah The Musical... ‘Yun Lang! (2023), Legally Blonde (2025), the PROM (2024), Next to Normal (2020), Spring Awakening (2019), and RENT (2018). Centered around the beloved yet extraordinary family you know and love, this comedic musical is set to grace you with a peculiarly charming time. One normal (or not) night awaits you. The Addams have saved a seat just for you at the table. Will you accept our invitation?
In the kooky, upside-down world of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams. Nonetheless, this quirky family still has to deal with many of the same challenges faced by any other family – the kids growing up.
Their beloved daughter, Wednesday, has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy, from a normal, respectable Ohio family – the most un-Addams sounding person one could be!
And to make matters worse, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner.
In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed and relationships are tested. Will everyone make it out of this dinner alive?
In this rendition of The Addams Family, take part of our family as we celebrate eccentricity and authenticity, unconditional bonds amidst change, and the radical acceptance we extend to one another in spite of our differences.
blueREP is proud to work with its distinguished artistic team led by Director Jillian Ita-as (Mula sa Buwan, Twelfth Night), Musical Director Matthew Chang (Gregoria Lakambini, Legally Blonde), and blueREP alumni Choreographer Paul Atienza (the PROM, Alice in Wonderland).
Alongside them are Production Designer and Brand Designer Paw Castillo (Anak Datu, Pingkian), Costume Designer Frances Cagurangan (Pitik-Bulag, Bar Boys: A New Musical), Lighting Designer Jethro Nibaten (Bar Boys, Legally Blonde, Dagitab), and Sound Designer John Robert Yam (QUOMODO DESOLATA ES? Isang Dalamhati). Additionally, the production is proud to work alongside its Intimacy Director Regina De Vera.
Playing the lovingly spooky Addams family is a combination of both students, seasoned professionals and up-and-coming theatre talents. Ateneo Blue Repertory is pleased to announce its beloved cast: Ron Balgos and Rafael Jimenez alternating as Gomez Addams, Dia Papio and Riri Dauigoy alternating as Morticia Addams, Maria Prats and LJ Bala alternating as Wednesday Addams, Steven Hotchkiss as Uncle Fester, Aleczandra Luna as Pugsley Addams, Rona Layne Badilla as Grandma Addams, Anthony Luna as Lucas Beineke, Eli Pueblo and Sara Sicam alternating as Alice Beineke, RJ Panderayon as Mal Beineke, and CJ Isip as Lurch.
Joining them as the Ancestors are Aly Pascual, Audrey Caitlin Sy, Chinna Victoria, Dane Sarabia, Edith Garcia, Enrico Figueroa, Euree Lamayo, Katie Bradshaw, Marco Castenada, Miguel Salaya, Rielle Enriquez, Sabel Lamadrid, Sasha de Jesus, Sebastian Katigbak, Shasha Lee, and Zalino Gutierrez.
The Addams Family will run from April 24-26 and May 1-3, 2026, at Doreen Blackbox Theater, Arete, Ateneo de Manila University for a limited 10 show run. Tickets will be sold online from March 16, 2026 onwards, at bluerepertory.helixpay.ph. We implore you to ensure your seat at our table while it lasts.
