‘1 Gay Show sa Sulok’ continues Pride in September

1 Gay Show has been staged thrice in QC’s neighborhood bars and in makeshift theaters in university conference rooms. For the very first time, 1 Gay Show is coming out of Quezon City and into Makati.
The bold three-part monologue – performed with loving abandon by Johann Dale Reyes – is in partnership with Sulok, at the Vine Bldg in Poblacion. 1 Gay Show sa Sulok re-explores the plays written and directed by Gio Potes, PB Maraña, and Jasper Villasis. The Makati venue recontextualizes the happenings within the immersive play, as the outside noise and complications of a different city bring to light other realities of queer life.
The rest of the production team is rounded out by Phoebe Lina, Odds Odds, Karlo Erfe, Emman Degocena, and Clara Senga in various roles behind the scenes.
